The DRESSMAN system comprises overalls to which up to 32 "artificial skins" can be attached by means of Velcro fastenings. The DRESSMAN (Dummy REpresenting Suit for Simulation of huMAN heatloss) offers a number of advantages:

  • The overalls can be worn by test dummies or by human test subjects such as drivers and pilots
  • The overalls are available in all sizes
  • Wireless data transfer from the sensors to the electronics unit
  • DRESSMAN combines the advantages of a heated dummy and individual sensors (short response time)
