Have you ever thought about why it doesn't have to sound like a cathedral in your offices? Sound absorbers are used for this, which have a positive impact on room acoustics. Our specialists develop sound-absorbing components and materials for a wide variety of rooms and applications - and always take the architecture into account!
We have specific requirements concerning the sustainability and recyclability of the products we develop and attach great importance to a resource-saving manufacturing process:
When developing absorbers, it is important to combine functional and safety requirements with acoustic characteristics, such as sound absorption, sound attenuation or scattering. For example, we examine the properties of materials in detail in order to achieve optimized sound absorption for a specific material thickness. Especially when designing absorbers with multilayer structures (porous absorbers, various resonators and micro-perforated absorbers), we use purpose-built models and further develop them according to customer specifications.
We determine the sound absorption coefficient of absorbers through direct measurements, or through indirect measurements in a purpose-built impedance tube (air pycnometer). In addition, we use different simulation tools, such as Matlab, Python, Comsol and GeoDict.
Our experts keep an eye on all key components for you! During the development process, we are always in close contact with our customers in order to exploit all manufacturing possibilities. Work with us to achieve tranquility with responsibility for our future!
